Why should she? She won all the important states anyway. I've predicted this before and I'll say it again; Hillary will be the nominee and Obama will be the VP nominee. It's too perfect because he will win by a landslide in 16'.

At this point she should, but I know she won't. McCain's going to end up winning if the Dems don't get their shit straightened out before the convention. The only thing Hillary could do to possibly save her ass now is to convince Edwards to be her VP, but I doubt that's going to happen.

This is what is going to happen but guess I would rather have Mc Cain than Billary Clinton or Obama.

She should concede. She needs to win every remaining state by 70% to Obama garnering 30%. That isn't going to happen. What will happen in Pennsylvannia is what we've seen from her in other states...a close win where she doesn't take enough delegates to matter.

She isn't going to win North Carolina and Indiana...two states with more delegates then PA....

It's over for her. All she does now is risk napalming the Dem party so that McCain wins because the Obamaniacs stay home from the election.

The states she's won are going to go Democrat anyway. Does McCain have a chance to win Cali or Massachusetts or New York?

Haha. Nope. He has no chance to win those states.

you may be right, but i think Obama and Clinton would make a great team, but thats wishful thinking...

Exactly. And she's going to win another in Pennsylvania. Why would she concede? Plus this reverend Wright situation has taken a real bite out of Obama, and it isn't going to going away.

I think you are correct here.If Obama is the nominee the republicans will go after him big time on these kinds of things. You will hear about the Rev, Wright and his comments about America, his writing that have just come out on Israel, the Reverands relationship to Farrakan etc. They will do everything they can to play on racial bias of whites and you will hear how his election would probably mean more affirmative action programs etc whether that is true or not.The Pubs know how to play the game rough, lets not forget Willie Horton.

In this post from another thread you referenced an article in WSJ that talked about the sexsim and racism that is involved in this race.

http://board.freeones.com/showpost.php?p=2088136&postcount=42

In Today's Wall Street Journal there is an interesting article about the apparent "rise" in open sexism against Hillary Clinton and her supporters. The article is filled with anecdotal examples of various men--Conservatives and Libs--displaying open sexist remarks toward Hillary and toward her supporters.

We all know what happened in New Hampshire. White New Englanders told the pollsters "I'm for Obama" but when they stepped into that pollbooth behind the closed curtain...they came out punching a different button.

If this racist/sexist duality is a hidden undertone within America regarding two of our own politicians...are you telling me that Americans, given their own economic misery they face (credit/mortgage meltdown, job losses) are going to continue to care about the Middle East?

I don't see how they will for very much longer....once they see more neighbors lose their jobs and homes.

As the story points out people lie about such things to pollsters. No one wants to admit face to face to a pollster that race or gender might affect who they vote for but when they vote secretly it is apparent it did have a role.Every major race in the US involving especially black candidates has shown this.
The idea that this could not possibly even sway states traditonally firmly democratic to end up going for McCain is unfortunately not true IMO.Which of the two (Obama/Hillary) would have more difficulty is what I think the super delegates will probably make their judgement on.There is still a lot of time to decide the nomination and we should let this all play out and see what else happens in the campaigns before rushing to tell one of them they need to drop out.
Neitheir of them will be able to gain enough delegates to obtain the nomination without the super delegates weighing in.All this talk about how unfair and wrong it would be for the supers to give the nomination to the person with less delegates would make them irrelevant which I know some think they should be.But this is the process (rules) the dems set up and now is not the time to start complaining they are unfair. If people thought the process was wrong they should have joined their local democratic party and lobbied to have to process revised.Asking her to concede now is like stopping a football game in the 3rd quarter. This is not like the republicans who had a clear winner in McCain, both Obama and Clinton have had sizeable support and are very close in delegate and popular vote counts and both have a right which even Obama acknowledged recently to continue. It may be a long hot summer but nobody said deciding such an important thing should be easy.Sometime in June or July this will probably be decided by the supers,I think we should just wait and see what happens and how it plays out till then. But trying to shut it down now is a mistake IMO.
