Finished the latest chapter.

Here's my problem with it:

I felt like Akabur got tired of Star Channel and decided to do a sequel to Princess Trainer instead.

Now that's great -- I'd love a sequel, and he had hinted at that with the end of Princess Trainer, and even Aladdin showed up ready to help.

But instead of ending Star Channel and moving on to the next game, he just jumped into the sequel he wanted to do.

I'll see what he does with the next chapter (will the rest of the crew start working at the bar?) but otherwise, this just feels slapped on to a story where it doesn't belong. I mean, I enjoyed it just fine, but it just didn't belong here.

There is a list of scenes, a gallery, stuff like that, so yeah, pretty much.

Just to clarify, I had no intention of running PT story into the ground by merging it with CH34 completely. All I did was brought in Iris in a meaningful way since she is not one of the frozen girls. I was very careful when I was writing ep 10 to make sure I still can use the story for PT 2 one day.

yea i been follow Akabur when he was making comics.
I think he's done making porn, everything is half ass now. The last good thing he made was the TMNT mini game, I wish he made small games like that instead of this clusterfuck.

He pads out his work with his writing to make it feel longer and he doesn't even do a decent job in the art anymore. He needs to end this project and just condense his work. He should focus on the art with a sprinkle of his dialogue, not the other way around.

bjs with pretty much every1 except AI lola, hjs same, few (april, lara and hermione) get fucked, ginny gets banged during hermione's visit to school and in virtual world there are some bjs etc.

Yo I really do not understand this sim-room bullshit. I've gone through it about 4 different times trying a combination of the options and the quest marker still says I need to unlock the ending of any simulation. Wtf I've already done it. Is this a glitch or is akabur busting my balls again?

Maybe you're making choices that don't lead to any specific ending? If you want Jasmine's ending for the fantasy one, you have to make choices that she would like, and so on. If you go back and forth between choices, maybe there isn't a proper ending?

Just guessing here.

I figured it out. If you click on any of the options for the first story, it runs the rehearsal and doesn't run the princess quest, even if you click on princess quest. It just doesnt change back. You have to click on princess quest, not fuck with any of the options and then start it. I feel stupid but holy shit akabur why the fuck would you make it like that?

So I found a serious bug, not sure if it's because I have a 4K monitor but I went to put the game in full screen and now it's super zoomed in and I don't have the option to change it back since that setting is off screen.

Anyone know of a fix or anyone else have this problem? I deleted the file and unzipped a fresh copy and it's now permanently in fullscreen with no way to fix it that I know of.

Try "F", you can also try deleting the "persistent" file in %AppData%\Roaming\RenPy\Star Channel 34-1467452678 and in the "game" folder

Didn't really enjoy this episode, personally. It felt unnecessary and oddly disconnected from the rest of the game.
Hopefully, the game gets back to letting us corrupt the main girls in the next update.

I feel like Akabur needs to bring back more "evolving" scenes again as well (Scenes that repeat with multiple variations). For the most part, this game has felt more like a traditional VN than a "trainer" game, which is a bit unfortunate.

You can do that in VN's as well though (And there wasn't any of that in this episode at all).
When you think of a "trainer" game, you generally think of a game that allows you to gradually corrupt the girl through a series of repeatable actions and activities (That evolve as she becomes more corrupted... Like in Princess Trainer, Witch Trainer, and all of the games that those two inspired). That concept seems to have been mostly abandoned in the last several updates though (Which isn't necessarily bad, but it is a bit disappointing for me). The livestream "shows" seem to have been largely dropped as well.

Interesting story, good comedy, great characters, exciting scenes... And Iris in the Star Channel! What's not to love? Also, at long last Akabur is getting rid from all the rapey stuff he had in his previous games! Now I'm REALLY waiting for the next update!
