English: The Western Mono (or Nim) lived in the southern Sierra Nevada's western foothills, covering Madera, Fresno, and Tulare counties in the San Joaquin Valley, near rivers like the San Joaquin, Kings, and Kaweah. They led a semi-nomadic life, mainly focusing on fishing, hunting, gathering and limited agriculture.
