Description
English: Original picture caption: A UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR LECTURES TO THE WHOLE MIDDLE WEST: On the principle that the citizens of the State of Wisconsin who support the University of Wisconsin are entitled to such privileges as the institution can extend to them, the officers of the university are carrying on "certain forms of extra-mural teaching" by means of radio broadcasting. This picture shows Prof. Alfred B. Haake delivering a talk on economics. Some of the lectures have been heard as far west as the Rockies and as far east as New England.
