Summary

Description
English: Butterfield's Overland Mail Company Stage Station in 1860. This drawing was made by H. C. Grosvenor. He stopped here on his way to work in the Santa Rita Mine south of Tucson. The narrative with the drawing states that the two graves shown north of the station in the lower left corner contain the remains of the three Butterfield employees. Two were buried in one grave..
