Template:Office episode "Job Fair" is the thirteenth episode of the fourth season of The Office (U.S. version). It was written by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. It aired on May 8, 2008.

Synopsis

After being put on probation by Ryan, Jim hits the links with Andy and Kevin to try to land his biggest client ever. Andy arrives with blisters on his hands from having over-practiced, while Kevin jumps at the prospective client's offer of wagering on the game. When Jim tries to talk business, the man reveals that he is not interested in switching paper suppliers, but just wanted a day away from the office.

Michael, Pam, Oscar and Darryl set up a booth at a local job fair, which happens to be at Pam’s alma mater, to find “the best and the brightest” for Dunder Mifflin’s summer internship. This proves to be a disaster as Michael drives away the single interested teen Pam is able to recruit, and makes Pam drive back to the office for a single sheet of cardstock. His desperate plea over the public-address system ends in security escorting him out. Meanwhile, back at Dunder Mifflin, everyone but Dwight and Angela leave early due to Michael and Jim's absence, leaving the two to akwardly interact for the rest of the day.

After much persistence, Jim lands the account. After a brief hesitation due to the cameras, he and Pam share a congratulatory kiss.

In the final scene, Pam is shown inquiring at a graphic design booth at the job fair. Although she turns out to be unqualified for the internship offered, the representative suggests that she look for openings in New York or Philadelphia.
