An enthusiastic YES PLEASE to the non-horror disturbing scene iceberg!! I would have put the rubber ducky scene lower in the tier list. That scene is quackers.
I would have put the rubber duckie scene a lot later. ❤ I would love another ice berg with the non horror!! So curious about your takes!! Oh man yes. The Emily Rose scene "Waking Up to Emily" is spine chilling. And that's on the first teir! I'm getting Goosebumps each teir down.
Omg yeah, it’s not even graphic or gory either. Just the slow realisation of what is happening is so haunting. Love that movie but the end is disturbing
@@spookyastronautsi promise i pay attention to every minute and i dont treat it as slop, your hard work is appreciated. This list seemed very fun to talk about though!!
The most disturbing scene in Hereditary for me is when you see the son lying in bed when the mum wakes up and finds her daughter’s body. The fact it doesn’t show anything but his face and her screams, it feels like that scene goes on forever and it’s so haunting and disturbing to me.
The buildup of a anticipation to that was horrifying, but also because I could totally see that happening in real life to someone in a state of utter shock and disbelief.
I wish I was with you on not wanting to watch them 😂but the morbid curiosity and thirst for film shock value has me seeing these at least once and never again 😆👌🔥
Lake Mungo is incredible. There's an awful implication of what happened with her brother that is so subtle most people dont realise it by the time the movie ends. The movie basically works as a metaphor for sexual abuse/violence and how the victims are often silenced or how their own family doesn't want to listen to what they have to say and then forgotten, abandoned to their ongoing torment as everyone else moves on.
Oh my gosh yes. That film just leaves me in terror and chills. I was introduced to it by the Dead Meat podcast and they talked about the theory which made me feel ill with fear.
Girl, I am only on the Lake Mungo entry but so far, I'm getting chills from your picks. I completely forgot about the sixth sense tent scene. Kid me HATED that scene! Along with the troll in Cats Eye, both will stay with me FOREVER. Great iceberg! You are a breath of fresh air! Keep up the good work ❤
Love your work... it's funny you should find yourself saying "It's all for you!" I have found myself saying this a lot to our 9 week old kitten when introducing him to new rooms, toys etc. Should have called him Damien 😂
I am not brave enough for most horror movies but love watching your movies!! I watched this one whilst walking my dog. I am not sure if you have been told but your voice is so calming 💛 love from Germany
Emma, I have seen almost everything on your list down to the last four movies, none of which I have any intention of seeing. And I still can't believe that rubber ducky scene!!! Thanks for the deep dive. I hope you sleep well, while pondering the depth of the human condition. New disturbing film alert: See Alex Garland's Warfare. This is in the Come and See category of disturbing. See it while it is still in the theatres. This has THE most disturbing sound design of any film I have ever heard.
As always, your efforts are super appreciated. I knew you meant business when Martyrs was only on tier 5. "Lobotomy material" is right! I need a 45 minute shower just from your descriptions alone.
Another amazing video Spooky! Would love to see a disturbing scenes from non-horror movies video :) For me, the scene in “Come and See” where Florya and Glasha are looking for his family, and Glasha looks back to see what happened to his village will haunt me for life. Beautifully tragic film.
I get disturbed just watching your "Disturbing Iceberg" videos so this is perfect timing. It's Friday evening in Canada and I'm drinking beer so this will be easier to watch. Cheers from Vancouver!
The scene with the pregnant girl harming herself while a group of people scream and egg her on in Climax is beyond underrated. One of the most upsetting, depraved scenes I’ve seen… and it’s hardly talked about.
Such a great vid. I had to skip over the piglet and the tortoise scenes, cause I just ...... can"t with those, it's too much. And the rubber duck scene should've been way lower, lol. You're one of my favorites on YT, great content, excellent entertainment. Thank you:) Love from Norway!
Much much much better list than the Reddit one. Most, if not all, of the ones here have stayed with me over the years and watching this now I still close my eyes and mouth and just try not to remember the scenes. Apart from the obvious ones, these are really good movies as well. Bravo!
I really enjoy your linguistic acrobatics for these videos, thank you Emma! ♥ I haven't seen 10 movies from this list, two of which I'll never watch thanks to your descriptions (Wedding Trough and Green Elephant)!
Something I love about disturbing horror, its not always what you're seeing in front of you that is the true horror. It's your own thoughts. You add to it. The idea of Dani's sister taping the pipe to her mouth, Emily rose twisting into that vile shape while her friend just sleeps. Its what we don't see, but imagine. That is the horror.
We all love a spookyastronauts disturbing video. I am delighted and slightly worried that I have seen most of these. I’m currently recovering from a rewatch of ‘Climax’. Send help!!
I watched a movie you recommended in the past on a disturbing list, cause I like your disturbing lists called 'The Treatment', now that one stuck with me. the whole ending was brutal and sad.
Wedding Trough would probably have been a lot worse if I had understood what was going on when I watched it. And I don't have any rubber duckies left anymore.
Thank you so much, when I film it I feel like my waffling on haha. I actually lost my voice, it took me 3 hours to film. But when I edit it back I’m actually so quick on each film, good to hear feedback that the pace and detail are good. Thank you
The scene in Borderland where the character played by Rider Strong has his tongue bit out and then is forced to lay on his back and drown in his own blood haunts me to this day. I cannot watch that film again, it made me physically ill and gave me nightmares and usually nothing bothers me, but that movie got to me the way most movies have not.
I would have put the rubber duckie scene a lot later 😂 Love your videos!! Also I always get excited whenever you talk about Pet Sematary because it's a super important book/film to me and seeing love for it is the best 🥰❤️
Great vid! I had to pause a few times while cleaning my room to listen because I just can't believe some of these scenes 🤧 I wasn't expecting to see the dog scene from M3GAN on here, but it's more than justified
Maybe I should've picked another, less insane video to watch while having a headache lol. Great video, I would've put the rubber ducky scene a lot later though
i love you and your channel, been a watcher for years now, this is a perfect video for me to relax off of work on a friday night having some mcdonalds. as weird as it sounds to call a video like this relaxing, lol.
@spookyastronauts I appreciate your channel and all of the hard work you do and your passion for all things horror!! Horror is and has always been my passion, always nice to find a fellow spooky lover 👻
I saw the title and immediately thought of the picnic scene in ‘the house that Jack built.’ I am so glad it was included because that scarred me genuinely
these iceberg vids are always so fun! havent commented in a while but i been watching all the come with me's! hope ur doing well girly and ty for all the great content ur literally one of my fave youtubers keep it up! 🖤
I always tip my cap to you Emma for doing these videos. That last tier made me have to stop eating lunch for a moment. I think the implied stuff is so much more disturbing than actually seeing the action or aftermath taking place. And please continue to use "Fruit Ninja'ed" as a way of talking about beheadings. That got a chuckle out of me.
Thank you for another entertaining video Emma although I really feel bad that you have to put yourself through some of these scenes. I know you are very professional and you do this on your own terms but I worry about your mental health sometimes.
The ending of the Mist stayed with me for such a long time, I still haven't been able to watch it again. The instant overwhelming flood of emotions, the horror of realizing that he can never take back what he did, and how close they were to getting saved. It's a giant cloud of horror, regret, guilt, self-loathing and hate for how unjust it all feels. Also a shoutout to Final Destination, I'll never feel comfortable seeing a logging truck on the road.
I feel like the rubber ducky scene belongs waaay deeper 🤔 Also I would love a non horror iceberg! Thank You so much for all the effort and love you put in these videos ❤
I would have put the rubber ducky scene much later! Another great video, Emma! Thank you (even though I'm feeling truly sick to my stomach at this point)...
I went to see When Evil Lurks and it completely blew me away. I had to show it to my friend who loves horror movies and took him to see it the next week. What a proud moment it was when he gasped in that dog scene, he did not see it coming!
That position scene in The Exorcism of Emily Rose! Chills! Jennifer Carpenter is amazing ❤ Ahhh my favorite Annie Wilkes! Perfection! Watching this in bits. I shall be back 🙂

An enthusiastic YES PLEASE to the non-horror disturbing scene iceberg!! I would have put the rubber ducky scene lower in the tier list. That scene is quackers.
Absolutely second this!! Major yes! Paint scene from Beau is Afraid!! Still has me gagged 🧑🎨
"The driver has been...fruit ninja'd" was the most amazing way to describe that.
I would have put the rubber duckie scene a lot later. ❤
I would love another ice berg with the non horror!! So curious about your takes!!
Oh man yes. The Emily Rose scene "Waking Up to Emily" is spine chilling. And that's on the first teir! I'm getting Goosebumps each teir down.
The ending scene of Eden Lake will always haunt me
Omg yeah, it’s not even graphic or gory either. Just the slow realisation of what is happening is so haunting. Love that movie but the end is disturbing
It makes me sick. They did a good job.
Yep right, you don’t even now what exactly happens afterwards, but all the „possibilities“ that come up by imagination do the dirty job !
Agree, that is one movie I will never rewatch...
Great choice. It really affecting me too, on a deeply personal level.
I am in awe of all the work you put into these amazing videos! Can't wait to check this one out later tonight :)
Thank you Daniel ❤️
these extra long videos are such a treat!

Yes! That was the most disturbing scene for me too. His blank expression while she’s screaming is haunting and awful.
The buildup of a anticipation to that was horrifying, but also because I could totally see that happening in real life to someone in a state of utter shock and disbelief.
@@LunaLoveheart the first time watching the head fly? Nothing compares. Reality altering
@@Chb02007 I forgot about that cutaway! Omg traumatising.
From the moment the accident happens to the mom finding the body is so tense and awful because you know what happened.. and you know what’s coming..
I love that you had The Shining, Misery and Pet Sematary all in a row!
So glad that RUclipsrs watch NSFL movies so I never have to 😊
That’s why I’m here!
I wish I was with you on not wanting to watch them 😂but the morbid curiosity and thirst for film shock value has me seeing these at least once and never again 😆👌🔥
This serves for me as a "movies not to watch" list
Great picks! Although the rubber ducky scene should have come toward the end. That was crazy!
I always love a spookyastronauts video 😊
the ending scene of burnt offerings has haunted me since i was a child!!! i still find it scarier than most modern horror
The fruit ninja had me dying!! 😂
I would have put the rubber ducky scene a lot later!! 🙈
Thanks! For your hard work Emma! My husband and I really enjoyed the video.
thank you so much!
