| The original Big 3 were there because of their sales in Jump. They were the most popular manga of their time. There is no official New Big 3 but if there is or will be, then Demon Slayer is definitely a part of it cause it's the most popular anime right now along with having the most manga sales and a record per volume sale. |

I like Demon Slayer and always look forward to it but there is no such thing as modern big 3 unless you made it up yourself. sorry~ Big 3 is and has always been Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece. There is no such thing as "New" or "Old" or "Modern" Big 3. . |

All the big 3 have bad pacing, but One piece decided to drag the episodes out instead of creating filler like the other. imo, this wouldn’t have been fair to the weekly viewers, but what they received wasn’t any better. In conclusion, one piece is good, demon slayer is good and I have no issues whatsoever. One Piece's pacing went to dogshit after Dressrosa's arc. I caught up with OP I think right before that arc began and have been a weekly watcher since then. I probably won't see the end of it before my own ;d |

First of all modern big three is semantic because it come down to thinking that big three was a generalization while in reality it was a influence on western world. The reason why the only big three it's bleach,one piece and Naruto it's because at their time they had influence both in anime and manga to pave the way to what we have today and why we have it. Any attempt to do a modern big three it's just using popularity and sales as metric while forgetting that it's influence that made the big three the big three in the first place.

I will just say learn the meaning of semantic before you use the word and the Big 3 is only referred as such because of their sales numbers and popularity in Shounen Jump and nothing more, the term is exclusively used for manga and only by the western fandom. |
