If it's the case than he makes game to be not intuitive in terms of what to do next. We don't have any markers, or rarely there is some hints from dialogs. From game design POV intentionaly cripple the game for a purpose of growing your customer base it's a strange choise. You need to pay and alt+tab if you want to not just spend time trying different things.He uses the walk through to entice people to be Patreons since he posts the full game for free. Pretty easy to understand from that comment unless you're just cheap.
