| I have to admit, Sein is more of a complicated individual than he looks. He and Frieren has an unique relationship in the show, which is explored a little so far. It seems Sein wanted to be an adventurer but resigned himself to stay where he is now. Although the episode felt slow, it felt like a character study of his Sein as the show wanted us to understand him better. |

| It’s astonishing how quietly and peacefully Frieren could listen to someone… without even knowing them beforehand lol. Though we’re talking about Sein this time, who finally made his appearance in the adaptation. Someone who wanted to become an adventurer, but couldn’t because he refused his friend years ago, for reasons… Priests in this series are quite capable but they really do things “unlike” a priest lol. Sein’s no different. He’ll drink, he’ll smoke, he’ll gamble but he has quite a calibre too. I mean his brother accepted it himself too. Kind of goes without saying why Frieren thought of recruiting him, in addition to the fact that she does see a bit of herself in him. By the way, Sein might be as corrupt a priest could be, but he’s into older ladies, so that’s great right? Except when Frieren in her pursuit to recruit Sein tried to act like a “charming old lady”, that left a little to no effect on this man lol. Even a flying kiss, which once made Himmel faint, did nothing:((( Severely bad taste to not fall for Frieren’s charms, but let’s leave it at that, as the real reason why Sein never wanted to leave his village and pursue his dream of becoming an adventurer was to do with him not wanting to leave his brother all alone. Though that wasn’t something his big brother wanted. Really liked how understanding both of them were of each other. Sein has joined the party, with a purpose of his own, but hey Frieren should stop making this heaven thing public. People are not taking it seriously after all lol. |

| There's nothing more appropriate for Frieren's party than acquiring a new companion who almost met their end in the most absurd way possible. Frieren encountered Sein, the younger brother of a priest, at the church in a village in the Alt Forest. Witnessing his advanced magic effortlessly dispel a challenging poison, Frieren was astonished. Upon inquiry, Sein revealed that he once aspired to be an adventurer but remained in the village without embarking on a journey. Sein's brother asked Frieren to take him on an adventure... It appears that Sein has his own form of "corruption." While not a drinker like Heiter, he engages in more "adult" activities such as gambling. There's an episode showcasing a "risqué" side of Frieren. It's amusing that everyone, except her intended target, was scandalized by her attempt at seduction. Fern seems to have adopted Heiter's approach to drinking, although I don't recall seeing her consume any alcohol. I'm really hoping that this milf lover takes a different turn than the one we are familiar with.. |

| Frieren trying to be seductive was funny. Stark trying to gamble didn't go very well but it looks like the group has a new partner for the time being. I wonder how that will turn out tho. |
| Pleeeease read the lyrics of the opening by the way. They are so damn fitting to the story. Oh, good to learn that flight comsumes a lot of mana. "Somebody, please take this child home" LMAO. And Fern and Stark thought it was lewd XD A new temporary party member let's goooo! Gotta wonder where exactly will he leave the party for searching though, Northern Lands is the whole northern region of the continent right? (And they are actually in the Northern Lands right now) This episode had both emotional moments and moments where my cheeks hurt from smiling. |

| A new adventurer has joined the party! A corrupt priest with an interesting personality. Sein seems to fit right in. Frieren finally gave him the push and answer he needed. There were so many funny moments in this episode, especially for Frieren lol. |
| The telling backstory a lot gene must in Sein's family. Frieren doesn't really hate demons, she didn't killed one in 500 years. Ah yes! The RPG stalking to gain enough affection points so you can recruit a new party member. Too many humans in my opinion. Get this sinful elf away from me. Was that a One Punch Man reference! The sassy lost child meme. |

| The Frieren seductive technique moment got me a bit, that was a fun and dumb moment and I love it. A slow-burn episode that isn't the best the series has offered but still was comforting enough to deliver a solid watch while giving an introduction to a new character to join the party for the time being in Sein, and hopefully his journey to finding his adventurer friend can turn into fruition for him to have some kind of change to his life that he needed and desired on the inside. Good that his brother got him to understand how he felt about his job with the village which he never regretted for a second, to get Sein to take the next step forward with his life and not have any regrets lingering. |

| In the Alt Woods, an adventurer by the name of Sein shares with Frieren a dream that he had with his close friend...though him in a bottomless swamp, Frieren doesn't quite follow, and Fern has to follow up while she gives the ever-so-loving smug face. Stark getting bit by a snake, he bleeds out blood, and both girls hurry him to the nearest priest, which they find Sein again as the younger brother, which heals him instantly. As expected, the priest knows Frieren, and gives them a place to stay, though needing a priest is what they want persuading Sein, and Stark embarrassingly lost, as well as said man himself. Even Frieren had the same regard as Sein himself thinking that time has passed too quick, and as much as Himmel enlightened her, she enlightens Sein in the same way that he could reignite the passion he once had. Instead, preparing for the town's harvest festival together as a way to pester him to be recruited along them, they're having trouble, so they seek out the priest for help. But an older woman...Frieren quite fits the bill, and she tries to seduce him in the most hilariously nonchalant way possible that's taught by Himmel, but the flying kiss did not work on him as much as said Hero did. Regardless, Sein does not want himself to be an adventurer, just like Heiter did came to their town 10 years ago, which his older brother relented Sein dropping his dream in favour of his, and Sein joined eitherway as the corrupt priest of the present. Good for Sein, he's found a new purpose. |

| Another beautiful episode full of life lessons and great moments. You’re never too old to pursue your dreams. Sein clearly wasn’t fully content being a priest and was really only doing it out of a sense of loyalty to his older brother. His heart was always longing for adventure and finding his friend. Frieren blowing a kiss would’ve been more than enough to get me to join 😂 but I’m glad in the end the slap from his brother woke him up and convinced him to leave. As usual, the parallels between Frieren recruiting Sein and Himmel recruiting her are so good. For only adventuring together “1/1000th” of her life, the impact is immeasurable. Lot of little moments I really liked in this episode. Fern putting her coat around Stark after he got taken for everything while gambling, Fern and Stark looking at Frieren when the older priest brought up Sein liking onee-san’s etc. Little things like these really make this story so good for me Another awesome episode |

| Lmao. Frieren didn't need to wait for the guy to dump his entire life story to save him. Poor guy. Frieren's smooch was the best fanservice I've ever seen. New temporary party member Sein joined! Recruiting him was definitely a chore at first. I hope he gets to see his friend again. |
| Oh Frieren! Such a sinful woman, what a lethal seduction technique. Got Himmel good. How holy must Sein be, to not be affected by it. Even Fern and Stark's reaction lol. Another beautiful episode with great soundtrack again, made me emotional at times. Sein's brother is a great guy. Good to have him in the party. |

| Frieren doesn't fit for the older woman, since Sein is talking about looks, not age. Frieren moe failed this time, but worked well on Himmel. We have some kind of replacement for every member from old party as a new generation, except Himmel now and Frieren has gotten to experience both generations. |

| @Anto8642 LOL, Frieren's face after Fern said that!  And then Stark saying not my problem right after. I think this was the funniest episode that this series has had so far. When Sein's brother said that Sein likes older women and both Fern and Stark looked at Frieren and she says "what?" Then Frieren blowing a kiss soon after, funny stuff. This was a nice change of pace and I hope that Sein's friend is still alive but if he's not at least Sein will get closure. |

| Sein regrets a lot, but with a push, he can pursue his dreams too... This episode was yet another good one, as it introduced a new character, Sein, and there was a lot to take away from his character already. He had a childhood dream to go on adventures, but it never came to fruition. The main message though, was that it's never too late to pursue one's dream, no matter how old you are. Heck, Frieren postponed her adventuring for five hundred years. That aside, the comedy was very solid this episode, as it has been for the whole series, that blowing kiss from Frieren was such a goofy moment, as well as the whole process of recruiting Sein. It only takes an older woman accompanying him to convince him, eh? I'm definitely looking forward to what Sein brings to the group. |

| I really liked this episode, it was a slow burn but it was definitely great with it building Sein's character and his background. Now, he gets to become an adventurer and find his friend from years ago. I love how this anime can go from heavy action to slow episodes like this one. |

| Damn it, Frieren! What is it with your expressions and seduction attempt that makes me like you even more?! X3 Sein is an interesting character alright. He used to have a dream of becoming an adventurer, but gave it up and became a priest instead. He proved to be a tough challenge for Frieren, Fern and Stark to try and convince him to join their party, even with Frieren repeating the words that Himmel used on her in the past that convinced her to join his party. In the end, it took Sein's brother to slap Sein in the face and voice out the truth that made Sein wake up. He has agreed to join Frieren's party, but only temporarily until be finds his missing adventurer friend, who hasn't returned in 10 years. I have a feeling that he'll stay for a lot longer than he might think, so he should prepare himself for that. =) This episode was slower-paced, but the interactions between the characters, both in the serious and funny moments, felt very satisfying. |
