A bit of a "self-portrait" if you would, of my fursona, Herschel! I have other art pieces that I wanted to do or have started, but I felt like I really needed to take a step back, focus on some fundamentals, and really apply what i've been learning. Overall, I am insanely happy with how this has turned out, and although there are some things i'd like to add, I don't know how to do them. This took me upwards of 40 hours over the course of a couple of months, and I am so happy that it's finally finished! I was originally thought it was going to be far simpler, and the idea was to use this portrait to make some eight or more versions with different styles and lighting angles, but as things went on, I abandoned that pretty quickly.

Massive shoutout to my mentors who gave me wonderful advice, and to all the other people who gave me constructive criticism as I went through this! I'd love to be able to link everyone's profiles, but that would be a lot. For those who see this, you know who you are, and I appreciate your help immensely.
