One of my biggest pet peeves is people at a certain very popular supermarket who cross in front of my car all the time. There are mothers with children, people with shopping carts, store employees wheeling long trains of shopping carts from the parking areas on the other side of the road back into the store - and they all just walk in front of my car without looking. My contention is that it doesn't matter who's right and who's wrong. If their body collides with my 2000 lb. car, who will get the better of it - them or my car? I would bet my car will possibly damage them more than they could ever damage my car. So they would be wise to look before they cross the road, and not just step out into it, blindly trusting in me to stop. And I'm happy to hear that JJ agrees with me. The man with the bike was very foolish to assume the motorist would stop. She may have been looking in many directions, trying to avoid all the road hazards she was encountering.

I think JJ is being very unfair to the young mother who moved out on January 2nd. I don't understand why she's being so harsh on her. JJ has already reached an age where her outbursts and insults should be a thing of the past.
