Not at all. I'm sick of all of these fucking awards shows. The Grammys, Latin Grammys, Country music awards, MTV Video awards, BET, Hip Hop awards, Viewers choice . . . fuck DAT shit! :thefinger
The only awards show I tend to watch @ the end are the Oscars for best actors, director and movie.

the entertainment industry has so many awards for itself you'd think best manicure for an actor in a serious role would be a category now. talk about patting themselves on the back. but its exposure and maybe thats why the general public insists on treating them like gods. they found the ultimate publicity vehicle with awards shows.
i refuse to watch oscar. its bullshit. Goodfellas lost to Dances with Wolves? Raging Bull lost to Ordinary People? Apocalypse Now lost to Kramer vs Kramer? Shakespear in Love wins best picture over....ANY movie? to me, the awards show are just glorified press releases occasionaly getting it right but usually getting it wrong in who it bestows an award on. of all of them, i think BAFTA has the most credibility but only because they have SOME credibility versus the other awards show having none.
i love movies, but i hate the fake orgasm we all have to endure with the self promotion that is hollywood.

What's a Grammy?
I watched up until after they gave Michael Jackson the Lifetime Achievement Award. I turned it off after that because that's all I wanted to see.
It's kind of like a cracker, only sweet. Or it could also be a unit of weight measurement. Maybe it's what some guy calls his grandmother. :dunno:
