| Bell in near total despair mode. Freya has played this perfectly, and likely has eyes on everyone Bell used to know. It seems that their close bonds and causing some issues with the brainwashing. Lying while dropping bits of truth while explaining Bell's memories is both genius and cruel. I suppose Hestia is the ace in the hole here, I'm just curious as to how and why she's immune to Freya's spell. But after thinking about it, if Freya is so in love with Bell, why deceive him with Syr to begin with? I can only assume that she was afraid of being rejected. Admittedly, a situation like this is usually a guy's dream. But I can guess how it'll all end, especially with how the OP clearly spoils some future events. I think I'd rather just have Freya join the Hestia familia if possible. Then everyone wins! Some seem to have issues with all the gaslighting, but I'm hooked on how this will end up. Especially with all of Freya's schemes behind the scenes over the course of 5 seasons leading up to this. |

| This episode was a great showcase of the worst and best of Freya, for a lot of it I was hating her like when she fucked with Bell on that status update thing (of course there’s a potion that can fake that lol) or when she put Eina back under her spell after she briefly broke out of it, but then near the end we saw Freya being cute af, giggling on the bed and saying how she’s going to wear that dress to bed because Bell said she looked good in it, is she a manipulative gaslighting girlboss or a teenage girl with a crush lol, the duality of Freya. It really is hard to completely hate her, but I know whatever she has coming is well deserved, she needs to learn to just be part of Bell’s harem, not take him for herself lol. And damn the Freya familia does things quite brutally, they straight up fight to the death all day everyday and then get revived by their cute pink haired nurse, heck maybe it ain’t so bad dying over and over if I get to be revived by her lol. Pretty insane stuff tho, for the way Freya acts with Bell you’d forget that this is her familia’s way of doing things, I feel bad for those fellas. |

| Holy fuck, this is the craziest gaslighting scheme in history. It felt really uncomfortable to watch, in a good writing kind of way of course. If there are still any doubts that Ais has special feelings for Bell then look no further than Ais still coming to their usual spot for training even if she doesn't remember him. Heith seems cool, besides being an accomplice in the gaslighting. Freya Familia's training is legit killing each other, Goddamn. Eina starting to remember Bell was sweet, but Freya really pulled up that quick on her lmao. She can immediately sense when someone's breaking out of her charm, that's crazy. Freya's love for Bell definitely seems pure and genuine, I mean she did try as Syr first, but the gaslighting is still absolutely insane. Freya's reaction to Bell at the end was really adorable though... FUCK. |

Ngl Bell constantly cockblocking himself is getting annoying. Saving up his virginity for Ais, who hasn't really shown any kind of romantic affection for him, is such a stupid concept/excuse, but I guess the cost of keeping the age rating low is ridiculousness like this. It also recreates the same issue Welf has criticised Bell for a few episodes ago, where his running away of those romantic confessions makes everyone lose all respect for the character.

Not every person is super expressive with their romantic feelings. On the other hand, she really tried to comfort him last episode with her hand... |

| Bell has never felt as alone as he does now, and this nightmare only seems to be getting worse for him. At least he’ll grow stronger by training even if it’s against his will. Freya getting excited like a girl experiencing her first love is honestly freaky after everything she’s done, but, in a way, it’s kind of cute too. |

Even with the countless plot conveniences and Ryuu's character writing getting obliterated in the process, it all was still miles better than what we are currently having so far. Gotta admit tho, that seeing Freya in that white dress made the episode a bit more bearable. I guess I should hate her but I hate Bell more so... yeah. Quite the odd feeling the one I have for her character. |
