2024 Maryland Board of Education election

Maryland State Board of Education count with 24 school districts: 23 and Baltimore, all of them have a regular term length of 4 years, a maximum number of board seats and a number of seats for each election.[1][2][3]

In 2024 18 school district decided not held elections due low number of participants, only 6 school districts will represent held elections in their respective counties:

The district represented are District 1, District 4, District 5, District 7, District 8, there are incumbent and new candidates for each county.

1.- Anne Arundel County Public Schools has 7 Seats up for election and 7 Total board seats.[4]

2.- Cecil County Public Schools has 2 Seats up for election and 5 Total board seats.[5]

3.- Frederick County Public Schools has 3 Seats up for election and 7 Total board seats.[6]

4.- Howard County Public Schools has 5 Seats up for election and 7 Total board seats.[7]

5.- Montgomery County Public Schools has 3 Seats up for election and 7 Total board seats.[8]

6.- Prince George's County Public Schools has 5 Seats up for election and 13 Total board seats. [9]
