[edit]Andrew Cowlin is a business owner and former British Isles Champion for the sport of short mat bowling.
He was born in the town of Iserholn in West Germany on 4th August 1979 from a British father named Martin Cowlin and a British mother named Helen Cowlin. His father worked in the army and had three kids in Germany. Andrew was the youngest child with two older sisters.
Andrew won the Somerset championship 5 times and got invited to play for England when he was 16. Then he won the British Isles at 16 and qualified for next year. He then won 3 British Isles in a row and played for England for 5 years. He played in 2 World championships and came 4th in his first one and 3rd in his second. But was unlucky not to get to final because on the other game the other player was winning by three but then lost and on the last end. Andrew stopped playing because of work and he met his wife.
Andrew then joined a company called Aitech where his father worked. He started off small but then got a better job. He then was then bought some shares and got given 5 percent shares by the owner, John Davison. Airtech got bought by Voloution. He started as an engineer then went to the job of a surveyor. Andrew then became a sales manager, sales director and manager director.
He then had a child on 21st September 2012. His name was Tobias Cowlin. Andrew then had another child on 6th September 2012. She was called Eleanor Cowlin.
In 2018, Andrew decided to create a business called Mouldex. Mouldex specialises in mould removal and radon tests. He set out for it to be a one person company but soon hired his sister, his friend and somebody else. The company rapidly grew from a few people to over a hundred employees today. He currently lives in Chedzoy in Somerset, England.
