Hussein Ali Zein (Arabic: حسين علي زين, Lebanese Arabic pronunciation: [ħ(u)seːn zeːn]; born 27 January 1995) is a Lebanese footballer who plays as a right-back for Lebanese Premier League club Safa and the Lebanon national team.

Club career

On 2 August 2024, Zein moved to Safa.[3]

International career

Zein played for the national under-19 team between 2013 and 2014.[4][5] He also represented the under-23 team between 2015 and 2017, playing six times.[1]

Zein made his debut for the senior team on 5 February 2016, in a 2–0 defeat against Bahrain in a friendly game.[6] He also participated at the 2019 WAFF Championship in Iraq.[7] In December 2023, Zein was included in the Lebanese squad for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.[8]
