On 22 September 2022 Lonwijk signed a five-year contract with Ukrainian Premier League club Dynamo Kyiv.[10] Viborg FF claimed he was sold for a club record transfer fee.[10] Lonwijk signed with Dynamo Kyiv during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.[10]

He made his debut for the club on 2 October 2022, replacing Volodymyr Shepelyev in the 82nd minute of a 1–0 away victory against Mynai.[11] On 10 November, he scored his first goal for Dynamo by slotting home a Viktor Tsyhankov cross, thereby contributing to the team's 3–1 league win over Oleksandriya.[12]
