The B-29 was not a "jet"

The article refers to the B-29 as a "jet". It is not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.50.244.170 (talk) 18:39, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Missing pit

The article notes "The absence of the core probably was because of its high cost and relative scarcity at the time".

Reading the Mk. IV article, it states the pit would not be installed until just prior to dropping in combat. This appears to be a much more likely explanation. Maury Markowitz (talk) 13:23, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
