1951 Philadelphia municipal election is a featured article; it (or a previous version of it) has been identified as one of the best articles produced by the Wikipedia community. Even so, if you can update or improve it, please do so.
It looks generally solid, but I think more needs to be said about the mayoral campaign itself. Were there debates? Did the Inquirer and Bulletin issue endorsements, and did their party alignment switch from two years before? Was there increased involvement by younger people and minorities? Also, was this a purely local election, or did national trends come into it. Was communism an issue? Generally speaking, I think it needs more specifics, with an emphasis on the mayoral race, which probably is why the reader is here.
That all makes sense to me, and there is definitely more to tell on those points. I'll work on it. Thanks again for looking it over. --Coemgenus (talk) 00:48, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The last sentence of the Aftermath section paints a fairly negative view of Democrats. Is there another less negative POV/opinion that could also be included? -- GreenC00:46, 7 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
