Removing Z0ne Animation References

[edit]

I've noticed frequent edits adding references to the Z0ne Ankha animation on the Camel by Camel page. While the animation might be popular, it's not relevant to Sandy Marton’s song or its significance in Italo-disco. These mentions are off-topic and not appropriate for the article, so I’m removing them. Snickerdoooodle (talk) 19:21, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Those references are absolutely on-topic whether you like them or not. 2601:5C5:4380:55C0:7505:19B9:B2BC:4CE9 (talk) 21:15, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The relevance of content on Wikipedia is not a matter of personal opinion but of reliable sources and encyclopedic relevance. The animation in question, while known online, has no significant bearing on the history or cultural impact of Camel by Camel as an Italo-disco song. Wikipedia policy, including Wikipedia:NPOV and Wikipedia:UNDUE, supports the removal of off-topic material that gives undue weight to trivial associations.
If you disagree with the removal, please provide reliable sources that establish the animation's relevance to the song in a way that meets Wikipedia’s notability standards. Until then, I will remove the content again, and if this continues, I may request administrative action to prevent further disruption. Snickerdoooodle (talk) 16:52, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
