I have removed the "Cleveland Social Services" section, which consisted of quotes on child sexual abuse in general, not on the Cleveland scandal or on Cleveland Social Services. I have also removed the unsourced "media investigation" section and instead added a line about the RAD test to the lead, with a reliable source. More reliable sources couldn't hurt, particularly ones detailing the course of the scandal itself. Huon (talk) 21:28, 8 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I am very unhappy with the title of this article, which is extremely misleading, especially as I posted a link on Mumsnet. It gives the impression that the people of Cleveland, NE England, were child abusers, but they were exonerated. I suggest we re-read the article, and amend the title to reflect The Actual Content of this webpage. 2A00:23C7:B7B8:1A01:D0F9:13C4:3109:A88A (talk) 21:50, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The "correction" that was added to the top of the article in the last few days is very poorly done. Someone with more knowledge of the matter needs to incorporate it better in the article itself or somewhere within the lead. --24.80.199.58 (talk) 09:35, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
