Deletion
[edit]It would be shame if this article got deleted. Wikipedia has articles about other historians who appear on television often, such as Bettany Hughes, Simon Schama or David Starkey, so why cannot she have one? After all, she has, as of March 2012, began a series on BBC Four that is very good called "She-wolves", that is obviously based on a name of a book she did. Don't claim that this is an example of Wikipedia: BLP that is unsourced, as there are some sources at the end of the article, even if they are all web references. - It was just about the guidelines. If you look at the article history you'll see that the Prod was added before the refs. It should be fine now. Span (talk) 21:05, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
I tried the website for "External Link" and just got "This page is not available". ACEOREVIVED (talk) 22:38, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks to the Wikipedian who fixed it - it now appears to be OK. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 10:51, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
Birthplace
[edit]On her recent Radio 4 series (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b07c56j6#play), Castor states that she was born in Leamington Spa, not Cambridge. Smlark (talk) 13:59, 7 June 2016 (UTC)
- She actually states that she "grew up" in Leamington Spa, and this THE article confirms that she did but was born in Cambridge. the wub "?!" 00:18, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
