Acronym

[edit]

Hi, I note that there are various fields for names (in various languages/alphabets) but, unless I am mistaken, there are no fields for acronyms -- which can be very common for agencies, especially if the formal name is long. Could we add this please? Julius Schwarz (talk) 07:04, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dark theme doesn't behave with images. See National Institute Against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism e.g. JayCubby 03:05, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

And JayCubby, speaking of color issues, the second half of your signature shows up to me as blue on black, nearly unreadable. – Jonesey95 (talk) 18:29, 29 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This change is apparently causing some problems, as posted on VPT. Suggestions for a better fix are welcome. The template sandbox is available for editing. – Jonesey95 (talk) 06:01, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You should have tested this in the sandbox in the first place, where it would have clearly show on the testcases that this change isn't correct. Please revert immediately. Sjoerd de Bruin (talk) 09:28, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have reverted this change. As far as I know, the original problem still remains (see Test Case 10 in dark mode). It is possible that forcing a white background may resolve the problem in a way. I believe that there are discussions about this general issue at VPT and other locations. – Jonesey95 (talk) 13:53, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
