Seeking his/her doom?[edit]Well, I guess the seeker got what he/she was seeking for. Correct me if I'm wrong, his/her behaviour is pretty much summed up on WP:OWB. And personally, I would have WP:RBI and then forget-about-it~! *grin* --Dave ♠♣♥♦1185♪♫™ 03:27, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
Blocking[edit]I have been noticing that many 1st time blocks are 31 hours. I was wondering why this was. Is it because it sounds more intimidating, or is there some other reason behind it. Also, thanks for blocking User:Bolegash. Although they were annoying, I might as well get used to it. It'll happen quite often, I guess. Hamtechperson 03:41, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Silicon Valley University[edit]Thanks for protecting that article. I was inclined to do so, but my name seems to have become associated with editing it. (I first edited it when it was up for AfD, and it's still on my watchlist, so I've subsequently logged a bunch of "revert" edits...) It's a trivial point with respect to the article Silicon Valley University, but that statement about all of the faculty being Chinese is most definitely in the source cited. See page 69 of the 2006 book, "The New Argonauts" (yes, in Google Books; that's where I found it, too -- by the way, that book was the only solid third-party coverage of the school that I was able to find during the AfD). The first complete paragraph on page 69 says (in part) "Although the official language is English, a majority of the student body continues to be of Chinese origin .... and the faculty remains entirely Chinese..." I am well aware that their current faculty roster includes several Anglo names and an Egyptian, but the only available third-party source is a 2006 book that says that it was entirely Chinese as of that time. --Orlady (talk) 01:14, 3 March 2010 (UTC)

How Dare You Assume That[edit]I will now report you.Dr real (talk) 22:54, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
Dr Real Is My Friend, And I Can Assure You He Used A Public Computer With A Shared IP Address[edit]You hurt his feelings when you said he and and another user were the same, which they are not. I can assure you,. He may have been a little out of line, but he felt you personally attacking him by assumming. The computer he used is a public computer shared via Hennepin County Libraries, and people share this user name, 204.169.161.1, when nobody uses a Wikipedia account. He uses the library because he doesn't own a home computer at the moment. Daily, there are probably at least 300 people across Hennepin County who use their computers. Also, my home is filled with Bill Clinton supporters, and he is one of the many who probably saw that content on the sexual allegations section and wanted to talk about it and the talk page. His reply was only because he agreed with comment an unregistered user made. I do not think he was right to assume you personally attacked him, but you did hurt his feelings.71.63.233.66 (talk) 16:03, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Probably not ready to write an encyclopedia[edit]What the heck? You deleted Whitney Stone's page! I wasn't done editing and finding more soucres for her! I am very upset and I think that you are very rude to delete my page on Whitney Stone! It is not an autobiography, whitney stone is just my user name because I think that she is amazing! Then, you come along and delete her page that I was creating! Well, that is just rude and cruel! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Whitney stone (talk • contribs) 16:07, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

Monica Seles[edit]Hello. I have a question about Monica Seles article I wrote in the lead "Yugoslavian-born American former World No. 1 professional tennis player" Should we write about the Hungarian citizenship that she also gained in 2003 in the lead or inside the article? I mean the lead should be "Yugoslavian-born American Hungarian" or should we mention about the recent Hungarian citizenship inside the article? Thanks in advance (Umumu (talk) 19:35, 18 March 2010 (UTC)) Add another and change an existing template?[edit]I feel the current template is more of a cookie cutter than it needs to be. An example of a different one would be: Congratulations! Your request to be caught has been granted! You will be blocked from editing for a period of time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. If you change your mind, you will be welcome to make constructive contributions after the block expires. If you believe you were netted by mistake, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.
And a new one, since your current template is not prepared for indefinite blocks: Congratulations! Your request to be caught has been granted! You will be blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for vandalism. If you believe you were netted by mistake, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Epididymus10's edits[edit]Hi FQ, May I draw your attention to this comment I left on his/her talk page? I had originally reported him/her as a straight-up vandal on AIV based on stuff like this. I think this is merely subtle vandalism and a lot of hand-waving time-wasting. WLU (t) (c) Wikipedia's rules:simple/complex 00:22, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
Since you've been involved with User:Notpietru ...[edit]... I bring to your attention some block evasion on his part, the details of which are here. Cheers, RGTraynor 17:20, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
AWARD OF THE PURPLE HEAD TO FISHERQUEEN QNT[edit]We of Wikipedia suck up admin staff felt that for your courageous and forthright censorship of truthseekers was exemplary and deserved reconition on the time honoured traditions of facist dictators and mass murderers by giving you a badge award. This Badge you see above the "Purple Head" can be worn on the front of your forehead. Without your speedy and diligent banning of users like Truthseekers Wiki might gain some factual and unbiased information and this is something that we at Wiki are keen to avoid. Users who can block and ban newcomers without question and then fend them off without providing good rerasons are exactly the calibre of sanshonest leaders we require and should you ever require any help with blocking hundreds of thousands of people - please feel free to call on any facist aligned admin at any time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.56.174.114 (talk) 23:05, 30 March 2010 (UTC) The Wikipedia Signpost: 29 March 2010[edit]
