Hi there, my name is Miyagawa. I'm not Japanese - in fact, the name originally came to me from a different encyclopaedia - Microsoft Encarta 1995. It was the surname of one of the writers of the article on Japan, and I was looking for a character name for the Legend of the Five Rings Roleplaying Game when it launched in 1997; it became my character's name and afterwards my online pseudonym. Had the surprise of my life when I found out it was a type of satsuma. I can say that I've eaten a Miyagawa.

I've written articles on a variety of topics over the past decade or so, and right now I'm concentrating on a project to list every woman who has ever won a Michelin star at List of female chefs with Michelin stars. It would be impossible to include every man who has won a star in a single list because of the vast numbers, and by creating the list of women, I'm trying to make the point that it shouldn't be possible for this gender either.

Thank you to everyone who fixes any issues with my prose - I'm really very grateful. I'm happy to respond to requests for sources, in particular regarding Star Trek. The complete list of the source books on that subject I can easily access are here. Miyagawa (talk) 10:37, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
