Chasa are not shudras. They are cultivating ksatriyas

One more thing friend. In odissa Chasa caste is categories in obc and Infact they are higher then other obc cast like gudia, gopal, teli etc. Odia culture is totally different then north indian culture. Shudra people are classified in sc/st catagories. Chasa are not Shudra. Actually they are highest cast among other obc in odissa. If you ask any brahmin, they called them ksatriyas. they have interrelation with karan and khandayat. So please remove Shudra word from origin and history section. You also can ask odia brahmain. User:Sekharblack123 I’m sorry, I won’t be adding anything without a reliable source. All the sources I’ve encountered so for denote Chasas as cultivators of low status, however members still had the ability to move into the Karana or Khandayat castes. No bro I am not saying that. You may not say them ksatriyas. But also you can not say them shudras. As odissa cast system is different from north India you may not classify odissa castes into any varna. But they are not Shudra. Also in Hindu cast system agriculture is part of vaisya. What is the source that says they are sudra. Sudra varna has no gotra according to Hindu system. Chasa caste gotra are kashyap and nagesya which are also gotra of khandayat. Hence they can marry khandayat. They are main odia caste. According to Hindu system only brahmhin, kshatriya, and vaisya have gotra. Shudra has no gotra. Completely wrong information sir. The book you mentioned are controversial. No way chasa are shudra. Caste system introduce during British rule and that time British government was not happy with chasa community and khandayat community die to Paika rebellion. So they books written was political act against these communities to restrict them from getting job then. One more thing chasa from Bengal are different than the oddia tribe people.Then odisha was not a separate state so this confusion happen. Varna are from vedic period. False information . Are you sure you have all authentic documents that can prove your claim to be right which you maintain in that page ? You are not considering the book from famous local author but sure about the writing about foreign author and some journal where the author clearly mentioned as there assumption. Assumption means not sure but maybe. Many users already mentioned the same to you in your talk page. This is now become very sensitive issue in this community.
