Speedy deletion nomination of Mughal Conquest of Balochistan

[edit]

Hello Mr.Hanes,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Mughal Conquest of Balochistan for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.

If you don't want Mughal Conquest of Balochistan to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Seeing as some people have gotten confused by this, just to clarify- just the redirect is getting deleted, not the draft. DoctorWhoFan91 (talk) 13:15, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Removed redirect

[edit]

I have removed the redirect Siege of Ranthambore (1291), clearing the way for the page move you requested. - Brian Kendig (talk) 06:02, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

AfC notification: Draft:Siege of Ranthambore (1291) has a new comment

[edit]
I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Siege of Ranthambore (1291). Thanks! Deb (talk) 13:29, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Proper Naming

[edit]

Hi @Mr.Hanes Just saw the article Ibrahim Khan's invasion of Ranthambore created by you which per naming convention is not so sound, as WP: COMMONNAME of Ibrahim Khan Lodi is Ibrahim Lodi. Hence, the page name should be corrected as readers could be confused as Ibrahim Lodi is more recognizable term than Ibrahim Khan.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Nagarjuni Caves (January 3)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted because it included copyrighted content, which is not permitted on Wikipedia. DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:28, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@DoubleGrazing I bifurcated this article from from Barabar Caves see this. And the page you pointed out is Wikipedia replica[1]. Mr.Hanes Talk 15:42, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks for explaining. I thought something like that might have been behind this. I'll go and undo my decline and speedy request.
If by 'bifurcate' you mean splitting an existing article, then you should follow the procedure laid out at WP:SPLITTING. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:44, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
