[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Shayan Italia has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bfacebook\.com (links: http://www.facebook.com/shayanitalia).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 21:38, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
- Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Shayan Italia do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

- Claims made in articles on Wikipedia have to be substantiated by references to reliable sources. MySpace, or interviews (esp. on unreliable websites) where the subject himself 'verifies' the information, do not count as reliable sources, and such material may be removed by any editor at any time. File permission problem with File:Armour Of Love.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Armour Of Love.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 00:27, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
edits to Shayan Italia
[edit]The reinsertion of unverified, unencyclopedic, and/or trivial material is disruptive and can count as vandalism. I have rolled back that reinsertion of such material as the subject's brother, awards verified only by a press release of the subject's agent, etc. I would urge you to acquaint yourself with some of the guidelines, such as WP:V and WP:RS. Also, are you, by any chance, more or less acquainted with the subject? Drmies (talk) 01:08, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
- BTW, a list of such links as Twitter and MySpace pages is always going to be removed. Wikipedia is not a substitute for a messageboard. Drmies (talk) 01:09, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Shayan Italia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 04:33, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
- Re: STOP EDITING THIS: You may also read WP:OWN. I have tried to communicate with you, but you will not engage in conversation. You have not answered the question I asked you earlier; I am going to assume you are the subject of the article, and if not, that you are real close to the subject--close enough for a conflict of interest. I am again reversing your changes, since they are non-encyclopedic and unverified. I have explained the problem with those edits a few times already. If you revert again, I am going to ask for a review of these edits. Let this also count as another vandalism warning: your edits are disruptive. Drmies (talk) 14:50, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
3RR violation
[edit]Unfortunately, you have reverted my removal of unverified and unencyclopedic material three times now in the last few hours, and that makes you guilty of edit warring. I have filed a notice at the Edit Warring noticeboard, see here. While it is not my intention to have you blocked for edit warring, that is a possible consequence; I am much more interested in your editing adhering to the Wikipedia guidelines, some of which I have pointed out to you a few times before: the rules on reliable sources, for instance--since you keep adding links to things that are decidedly not reliable sources. The plethora of MySpace and other links is also not in accordance with our guidelines, as is the inclusion of information about the subject's brother and other family members. I hope you will take this moment to acquaint yourself with the function and workings of Wikipedia. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 17:14, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
- Hello Thikkamasala. The personal web site of the article subject is usually not accepted as a reliable source for any factual information. If you don't modify your approach, it is likely that you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This is your one chance to explain your thinking and agree to follow consensus. Wikipedia is not for advertising or promotion. It is intended to be a source of neutral information, that can be verified from published sources, like books, magazines or edited web sites. Reblocked
[edit]You continue to revert to your preferred version of Shayan Italia, and you have never responded to any of the warnings or the other messages you've received. This very talk page is innocent of any postings by you. Wikipedia is not for advertising or promotion, and it is not your personal web site. You have been reblocked for one week. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}
below. You won't be able to continue editing Wikipedia if you are unwilling to follow our policies. If you have a change of heart, and will agree to stop the promotional editing, use the unblock template and any administrator can unblock you. EdJohnston (talk) 01:50, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Request reason:
I did not realize there was this page that referred to the errors I made. I will be making the neccesary changes through the week. Thanks
Decline reason:
It isn't clear to me that you understand why you were blocked, nor is it clear whether you intend to change your editing behavior. Please read the page linked above about "contest this block", and you are welcome to submit a fuller unblock request. You just didn't give a reason, nor enough information in this request. Thanks. Andrew c [talk] 22:21, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
hi, I do not know Shayan Italia however, I do not believe I have shown bias towards him. However, upon the release of my ban, I will edit the Shayan Italia page to make sure it is objective and impartial.
Decline reason:
I am declining your request for unblock because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information. Closedmouth (talk) 06:45, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Copyright problems
[edit]Hi, I nominated File:Keoslogo.gif, File:Keos-logo.gif, File:Onet.jpg, File:Armour Of Love (Clip).p3.ogg, File:Armour Of Love (Clip).ogg for deletion. Hekerui (talk) 14:18, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Shayan Italia
[edit]Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Shayan Italia, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Hekerui (talk) 15:19, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
- What Hekerui said. In edits on 10 and 11 August, you again removed templates and sourced information, and reintroduced information that could not possibly be called encyclopedic. Are you the guy's brother, dead set on having your paragraph on Wikipedia? That kind of information will never be acceptable according to Wikipedia guidelines, and continuing this disruptive behavior is a surefire way of getting blocked again. I might add that maintaining a non-communicative position (which includes providing no edit summaries) does not help. Drmies (talk) 02:22, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
I will follow the rules. Thanks.
