Všechlapy is a municipality and village in Benešov District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 100 inhabitants.
Geography
[edit]Všechlapy is located about 16 kilometres (10 mi) east of Benešov and 41 km (25 mi) southeast of Prague. It lies in the Vlašim Uplands. The highest point is the hill Skřivánek at 507 m (1,663 ft) above sea level. The Blanice River flows along the eastern municipal border.
History
[edit]The first written mention of Všechlapy is from 1378, when Queen Elizabeth of Pomerania donated the village to the Augustinian women's convent of St. Catherine in New Town of Prague. The convent owned Všechlapy until the 17th century, when it was acquired by the Sternberg family.[2]
In 1977–1991, Všechlapy was an administrative part of Divišov.[2]

Transport
[edit]The D1 motorway from Prague to Brno passes through the northeastern part of the municipality.
Sights
[edit]There are no protected cultural monuments in the municipality.[5] A landmark is the chapel in the centre of Všechlapy.
